Readying the State’s Presentation
Minister Rekha Arya gathered senior officials at her Yamuna Colony residence in Dehradun to polish Uttarakhand’s dossier for the two‑day national departmental conference scheduled for 8–9 October in New Delhi.
Core Programs to be Highlighted
The agenda will centre on the state’s flagship schemes for women’s safety, empowerment, nutrition, Anganwadi services and child protection. Officials have been asked to craft a compelling story that showcases Uttarakhand’s progress and innovative interventions.
Insights from Other States
Arya underscored that the conference offers a rare chance to absorb best‑practice models from peer regions. Studying successful examples elsewhere will help sharpen the delivery of Uttarakhand’s own welfare programmes.
Minister’s Vision and Prime Minister’s Input
Describing the event as a matter of pride, the minister noted that a concluding session will feature Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s perspective, which could steer future strategies for women and child welfare across the country.
Key Participants in the Review
The coordination meeting was attended by Secretary Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Additional Secretary Karmendra Singh, Director Banshilal Rana and other senior department officers, who examined the presentation plan and logistical details point by point.
