Bhopal: At the CM Youth Conclave‑2026 held on Lal Parade Ground, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced an ambitious, youth‑focused agenda, branding 2027 as the state’s “Year of Youth.” The programme aims to embed young voices in policy‑making, turn their ideas into actionable projects and nurture an ecosystem that blends education, jobs, entrepreneurship, research and cutting‑edge technology.
Free Coaching for National‑Level Competitive Exams in Every District
The government will launch complimentary coaching centres for national‑level competitive examinations across all districts, housed within existing government colleges. By removing the financial and logistical barriers of private tuition and long‑distance travel, students from even the most remote villages will receive a level playing field.
Research Stipends Raised to ₹25,000 per Month
Eligible researchers will see their monthly allowance increase from ₹16,000 to ₹25,000. In tandem, a dedicated ₹1 crore research‑support fund will be created to accelerate university‑level projects and foster a vibrant academic community.
AI and Advanced‑Computing Laboratories in Government Colleges
To equip learners with skills demanded by future‑proof sectors, state‑run AI and advanced‑computing labs will be set up in government colleges. These hubs will expose students to emerging technologies, stimulate innovation and open pathways to high‑growth career opportunities.
₹5 Crore ‘Idea Fund’ for Young Entrepreneurs
A new ₹5 crore “Idea Fund” will back promising concepts from budding innovators, encouraging a shift from job‑seeking to job‑creating. The fund is designed to nurture start‑ups that can, in turn, generate employment for others.
Skill‑Development Programme for One Lakh Youth
The state targets the upskilling of 100,000 young people through vocational training programmes. Strengthened placement cells will link trainees with suitable jobs, ensuring that newly acquired skills translate into sustainable employment.
Extra MPPSC Examination Added
In addition to the regular annual test, an additional Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) examination will be held next year, giving aspirants another opportunity to secure government posts as part of the Year of Youth drive.
Expansion of Medical and University Seats
Plans are underway to inaugurate 12 new medical colleges and 12 new universities across the state. The new institutions will prioritize courses with direct relevance to employability, strengthening the talent pipeline.
Enhanced Schemes for Female Students and Working Women
The existing “Gaon Ki Beti” and “Pratibha Kiran” schemes will be extended to cover postgraduate women scholars. Additionally, hostels for working women will be set up in every division, providing safe and convenient accommodation for women entering the workforce.
Broad‑Based Drive on Jobs, Technology and Entrepreneurship
The conclave brought together representatives from 17 government departments and featured more than 80 exhibition stalls showcasing opportunities in AI, robotics, drones, semiconductors, renewable energy and electric vehicles. A Global Investors Summit is slated for Bhopal next year, targeting industries capable of large‑scale job creation. Moreover, 500 new National Service Scheme (NSS) units will be launched to boost youth participation in community service.
Collectively, these initiatives weave together education, competitive examinations, research, technology, skill development, start‑ups and employment, laying the groundwork for Madhya Pradesh’s 2027 Year of Youth.
