New Delhi: On Tuesday, 6 October, both gold and silver softened, echoing a broader pull‑back in international and Indian bullion markets after a stretch of volatile trading sessions.

Global Benchmarks Ease

At the COMEX, spot gold closed near $4,153.80 per ounce, down about 0.07 %. Silver fell more sharply, slipping roughly 0.43 % to around $61.04 per ounce.

Indian Market Mirrors the Decline

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), December gold futures slipped by approximately ₹176, settling at ₹1,49,300 per 10 g. Silver futures dropped about ₹500, ending at ₹2,25,700 per kilogram.
