Lucknow/Meerut. In a bid to sharpen its electoral machinery for “Mission 2027”, the BJP is accelerating organisational drives across Uttar Pradesh. After a statewide mobilisation led by State President Pankaj Chaudhary, national figure Nitin Navin is slated to tour the western belt of the state, with stops in Meerut and Saharanpur on September 21‑22.
Two‑day agenda focused on grassroots feedback
Navin’s itinerary goes beyond meetings with senior legislators. He will sit down with the convenors of the party’s “Shakti Kendra” network and rank‑and‑file volunteers to capture a pulse‑check on local dynamics, issues, and the overall state of preparedness.
Day 1 – Meerut: Youth dialogue and Shakti Kendra summit
On September 21, the leader will address a “Yuva Samvad” (youth dialogue) and attend a conference of Shakti Kendra convenors. Parallel sessions will see him engage with MPs and MLAs from western Uttar Pradesh. Interactions with roughly 5,000 convenors are planned, allowing Navin to assess booth‑level organisation, activist vigor, and region‑specific challenges.
Day 2 – Saharanpur: Temple visit and senior cadre talks
The following day, Navin will reach Saharanpur, where he will first pay respects at the Maa Shakumbhari Devi temple. He will then hold a series of meetings with party leaders, workers, former MPs, ex‑MLAs, and past office‑bearers, probing the effectiveness of the freshly‑appointed district in‑charges and the broader re‑structuring effort.
These visits come as the BJP finalises a sweeping organisational overhaul in the state, installing new in‑charges for every district. Navin’s on‑the‑ground assessment is viewed as pivotal for validating the new hierarchy and ensuring the party’s readiness for upcoming campaigns.
Overall, the BJP is fortifying its presence in western Uttar Pradesh at every tier – from individual booths to Shakti Kendra cells, mandals (blocks), and district units – to secure a robust foundation for Mission 2027.
