Dehradun: Social‑media personality Anurag Dobhal has been named in a fresh police complaint alleging that he assaulted a local resident, threatened him and was involved in a robbery. The FIR was lodged at Nehru Colony police station after Raj Singh Chauhan submitted his statement.

Investigators have opened a case file and are currently verifying the details mentioned in the complaint.

Altercation Said to Have Started During a Meet‑up

According to the filing, Chauhan arrived at a location near a Nexa showroom beside Yellow Hills Café on the evening of 5 October to meet Dobhal and a few other acquaintances.

He claims a verbal disagreement broke out around 8 p.m. and quickly turned physical.

Chauhan alleges that Dobhal attempted to choke him while several other men allegedly struck him with sticks and metal rods. The complaint also mentions an attempt to run him over with a vehicle.

Phone and Gold Chain Allegedly Stolen

The complainant told police that he sustained injuries during the scuffle and that his mobile phone and a gold chain were taken from him. He says he managed to flee the scene after the incident.

These accusations have not yet been independently verified; investigators are reviewing the evidence to establish the facts.

Threats Reported After the Incident

Chauhan further asserts that the harassment continued beyond the venue. He says he later received threatening phone calls and Instagram messages aimed at both him and his family members.

The FIR lists Dobhal together with Abhay Chaudhary, Tapan Pandit, Abhishek Tiger, Abhinav Srivastava and Guru Bhai, among others.
